We have worked within the commercial and retail sector for over 10 years, delivering refurbishments, rebuilds and fit-out works across a wide range of premises. More recently, a significant proportion of this work has been delivered under insured loss, often through recommendations from specialist teams managing major loss claims. Our projects typically range from £250,000 to £900,000 and include the partial rebuild of Autumn Garden Centre and the reinstatement of an industrial unit in Rainham following a major fire.

These schemes demand speed, control and clear communication, particularly where a business needs to remain operational or return to trading quickly. We typically begin with immediate making-safe and temporary works, then work closely with clients, insurers and design teams to deliver a structured reinstatement programme through to handover. With in-house teams and trusted specialist subcontractors, we turn projects around efficiently while minimising disruption to the businesses and communities they serve.

Tower Construction and Tower Electrical worked closely with Railscape to design and deliver the conversion of a former Saab garage into their primary headquarters.

The Broadway, Leigh-on-Sea

This project involved an insurance refurbishment following a small fire originating in the kitchen area, which caused significant smoke damage to both the restaurant and kitchen.

Tower Construction won a competitive tender to build a 3-storey block of three flats known as Stamford Court, on a highly constrained site in Romford. The project was completed to a very high standard, with no significant defects. Arron Vickery and his team were consistently professional, demonstrating excellent technical knowhow and proactive problem-solving skills. The team’s interpersonal and communication skills were equally impressive, with the contractors maintaining good neighbourly relations with everyone affected by the works. All contractual issues were dealt with perfectly transparently, making it straightforward to monitor costs and progress. I would be delighted to recommend Tower Construction unreservedly for similar (and more complex) projects.

Tower has been working with us since 2019, successfully completing the design and construction of one of our offices in Rayleigh, Essex. We were highly impressed with the efficiency of the project, from the initial design phase to the final construction. Tower Construction has now become one of our main construction suppliers, providing us with valuable support for our building and maintenance projects in the rail industry. We anticipate continuing our partnership with them on future projects and foresee a long-term collaboration together.

Our business suffered a large fire in December 2022 destroying the kitchen in the back part of our garden centre. We contacted Tower construction to secure the site originally as we had worked with Arron Vickery the director 15 years prior as he was part of the team that built the garden centre originally. From start to finish we've been extremely happy with the Tower team especially working with Lewis the site manager who has worked with us to get the kitchen and garden centre up and running as it should be and we are extremely happy with what the electrical and construction team have achieved.
