Are you an Estimator experienced in commercial projects working for main contractors? Do you have a good knowledge of the construction industry? If so we would love to hear from you we are looking for a self motivated individual to lead our estimating team. We are a growing construction and electrical company based in Rayleigh Essex.

Duties:

• Pricing for a variety of construction projects and sending quotations.
• Leading the estimating team
• Obtain prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs.
• Identifying areas to improve margin.
• Assisting with project variations.
• Support other members of the commercial team.
• Overseeing the project from start to finish

Experience:

• Construction/Quantity Surveying qualifications preferable
• Must have excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own project workload.
• Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel is essential
• Must have effective communications skills and excellent attention to detail.
• A knowledge and understanding of the building and construction industry is prerequisite for this role.
